The Hut, by SOKO Outfitters, is Cedar Rapids’ destination for premium consignment outdoor clothing and gear. We believe great gear deserves more than one adventure. By giving high-quality gear a second life, we make outdoor exploration more sustainable and affordable. Every item in The Hut has a story — and is ready to join you on your next one
Our building was originally built by Ernie Buresh in 1951 as Cedar Rapids Feed & Supply. Quonset Huts were popular during this era due to their cost-efficient building solution and long-term resilience to weather. A decade later, the building was converted to a carpet warehouse. You can find both former businesses' names on the outside!
Open Friday-Sunday 11-5pm
We opened The Hut in September of 2022 for our consignment and rental business. We are excited to be apart of this building's next chapter. You can find used gear, rentals, clearance, seasonal sports, and more!
