Consignment Program

We Are Pausing Consignment Intake Until February 2026!

Ready to trade it in for something new? We accept gently used apparel, footwear, & outdoor gear for our consignment shop! If you're interested in becoming a consignee, stop by today!

We accept consignment 7 days a week during main store hours. No appointment needed. Depending on staffing and traffic, we might request that you drop off your items, and we will review them within two business days. The Hut does not have to be open to process your consignment. No item limit, no scheduled drop off hours, no hassle.

Bring gently used, clean clothing and gear that is not at the end of its life. We do not accept fast fashion/big-box brands. You can choose your price or let us help. Opt to donate, pickup, or markdown your item after 6 months. There are two payout options: in-store credit for 60/40 split or 50/50 check payout. We payout by the 5th of the following month and email you when you have credit to spend. Store credit never expires!

What We Don't Accept:

We do not accept FAST FASHION. What does that mean? Fast fashion is rapid, low-cost mass production of inexpensive clothing. These items are not built to last. Our goal is to promote on sustainability and keep items out of the landfill. We do not take Target, Walmart, Old Navy, Shein, JCPenney, and Amazon clothing brands.

We want to sell items we know best. While we have skiers and cyclists on our staff, we do not have the equipment to service and inspect these items appropriately. Other items are not intended for the resale market or can pose a risk to others, such as baby carriers and climbing equipment.

Items we do not accept: Skis of Any Kind, Hardsided Kayaks,Hardsided Paddleboards, Canoes, Some Roof Rack Systems, Bikes, Fishing Gear, Wetsuits & Waders, Swimwear, Used Climbing Softgoods, Baby Carriers, and External Framed Packs.

When to Bring Items In:

We want to stay seasonally relevant and have your items here at the right time for their best chance to sell. Starting in 2026, we will have designated time periods for when we accept certain categories. Here is a general guide:

January: Intake Paused

February: Spring Clothing, Transitional Spring Pieces, Running/Hiking Footwear

March-April: Shorts, Tees, Tanks, Skirts, Sandals, Summer Dresses

May-June: Inflatable Kayaks & Paddleboards, PFDs, Paddles, Paddling Dry Bags

August: Fall Clothing, Transitional Fall Pieces, Casual Boots

Sept-October: Heavy Winter Coats, Ski/Alpine Clothing, Snowshoes, Insulated Boots

We will accept camping, hiking, and climbing gear year-round. High-quality brands in this category sell well any time of year, but we do recommend bringing these in February/March. The Hut also accepts rainwear, hiking clothing, transitional jackets, mid-layers year-round.
